Relax... It's All Goooooood

Is your life a daily response to random events with no common theme OR are you part of a beautifully constructed plot? Sometimes we all get too closely connected to the day-to-day bump and grind of life. It's so important to occasionally step back, gain perspective, and dive into the mystery. Here are some techniques and ideas to inspire the plunge:

Recognize that whether by master stroke or pure chance, there is great intelligence in the universe.
Fact: A single human cell measuring 1/1,000 of an inch across contains instructions within its DNA that would fill 1,000 books of 600 pages each (Eckhart Tolle, The Power of Now)

Minimize resistance.“Nothing on earth can overcome an absolutely non-resistant person.” – Florence Shinn

Spend time in nature.
“Genius learns from nature.”- Oscar Wilde

Be patient with your struggles and challenges.
“Infinite patience yields immediate results.” –Wayne Dyer

Free the mind from daily routines.
“Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery. None but ourselves can free the mind.”
–Bob Marley

Smile…everything is evolving just as it should.
“Sometimes joy is the source of your smile but sometimes a smile is the source of your joy.” –Thich Nhat Han

Happy Reunion

Last but not least,當然要說說我的姑姑啦!

Weddings

Now I'm working on four weddings. Two will be held at InterCon Hotel, one at Four Seasons and one at Verendah, Repulse Bay.
Being a wedding planner for a year, I've came across many different couples, some are super nice and some are pure jerks!

All this experience brought me to think the kind of wedding I want and here is a picture of my dream wedding:
1. Small scale, only invite really close friends and relatives, I want to share this day with those I know personally. Don't want to shake hands and toast to total strangers!

2. Preferably an overseas wedding, invite all the guests there and we all can stay behind and enjoy a couple days together. Me and him will stay longer for our honeymoon.

3. Or an outdoor wedding in Hong Kong but got to be in autumn, don't want to get all sweaty! I know a place called Beas River Country Club in Hong Kong. It has a big lawn and should be nice for a sunset wedding.

4. Simple attires, good music, good food, good friends and family, these are good enough for me!

Have a good laugh!!

Today I got 2 e-mails from one of my clients who is an ER doctor. She just cracked me up in her emails. They were supposed to be business emails but she just replied them in a very humorous way and she just made my day.

I guess it's not easy for us to loosen up a bit in our daily lives, too much pressure, too serious...we almost forgot how to laugh. Researches have shown that laughing actually helps in fighting depression. There are classes out there which do nothing but just gather a group of people and laugh together! I even found this on the Internet, it's called the "The Laughing Yoga"...Maybe you can try this one out next time when you're feeling a bit stress.
